Roland Premier Dance
Tool
If you are a DJ or the type of producer who
loves dance music this machine is for you. The MC-909 is the
product of years of experience that’s roland has from launching
killer dance production machines like the MC-303, MC-307 and
the MC-505. By the way I still have an MC-303 in my
production arsenal and it still kicks major ANUS!
The MC 909 is a combination of a sequencer;
drum machine, synthesizer and a sampler. Yup! This is not a
toy. Major producers, the “Neptunes”, use the piece of
production hardware in their studio. That should say a lot. Of
course I have played with the workstation and even have a smart
media card with about 20 songs left on it from a production
session I was paid for here in Atlanta.
The sampler is sick on the 909 and the sound
quality is very good. You will be producing hot songs right out
of the box. Hear one of the songs I produced using all
the sound and factory drums from the MC 909. Nothing in
the song is sampled it’s all from the 909. I really liked
it…I tried to get the studio manager from the session to
give it to me but he kept it for himself. Oh well, as long
as I got paid!
The Roland Dance

mastering processors give producers the ability to create
finished tracks.
