Mac G5
vs. Music XPC
Professional
This is a question most music producers ask
themselves when it comes time to spend money on a
computer. It just so happens that this is the most
important question you will need answered before you move
forward. WHY Well the computer is going to be the
nucleus of your entire recording or production
studio!
I have a pretty impressive amount of hardware
gear for production & recording and still my
computers have the last word for editing, mixdown and
mastering! Sometimes I produce and record an entire
project album using strictly software so my computer has
to have enough power to handle everything. If you
seriously want to build a recording or production studio
you cannot get around buying or building a
computer.

Everybody knows that MAC computers run the show
when it comes to computer recording or production. I’m
not a Mac user but I have to respect the power they carry
especially the Mac G5. If you are a PC user like myself
it’s best you build a computer to fit your music
recording and production needs or buy the XPC
Professional. For Mac users it’s pretty simple…just
decide whether you want a desktop or laptop
computer.
Once you start earning money from your recording
or production I recommend you buy both. I have a laptop
and a desktop which proves to lighten up your work load
and man hours. It also gives you a better experience with
true hardware recording and production with your desktop
and comfortability with recording and producing with your
laptop.

What Is A Music
XPC?
It use to be that Mac were the only way to go
when it came to just buying a computer to run heavy audio
but not anymore. Yeah Mac computer still out weigh PC
users when it comes to audio recording and production
from a desktop.
However, There is a new kid on the block and he
is a serious contender. The Music XPC Professional is the
result of years of crafting computers for an audio
industry – for professional studios, project studios,
film composers, broadcasters, mastering houses ans
serious musicians.
The Music XPC Professional recording computer is
very quiet due to patent heat-pipe technology that
conducts heat away from the CPU.
Is it Fast?
Hell yeah! The Pentium 4 CPU blazes through CPU
intensive tasks like Virtual Instruments and Effects
Plug-ins. The machine delivers scores and scores of audio
tracks. If you want a computer that will keep up with
your demanding audio tasks look no further.
Tweaked for
Music
MusicXPC Professional is made for audio
professionals. It's not designed for organizing photos or
playing back MP3s, this is a machine for professional
audio recording, mixing, mastering and media creation.
Out of the box, it's ready for production because it's
been tweaked it to the max. Windows XP services that are
not needed are turned OFF and the ones needed are turned
ON.
